Care

General Maintenance: This plant doesn’t grow extremely fast, so repot only once rootbound. Can be propagated by using a stem cutting that has at least one node.

Temperature: Household temperatures will work well.

Light: Does best in bright indirect light. Direct sun can scorch the leaves and cause their colour to bleach. Too little light causes them to lose their purple colour.

Watering: Keep consistently moist, but not soaking. Water once the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. These plants like higher humidity, so regular misting or a pebble tray would be beneficial. Could also be kept in a bright bathroom or kitchen!

Soil: Any well-draining potting mix will work well.

Fertilizer: A slow release fertilizer would be perfect for lots of growth.
